On Saturday, immerse yourself in the Winter Wine Festival, where you can enjoy exciting new partnerships with top-notch food vendors or indulge in a winter Cassoulet Lunch + Vintage Wine Bar.
And let’s not forget the abundance of options from our wineries, open all weekend, awaiting your exploration.
Friday the 7th of June
The Winemakers Truffle Dinner
The Winemakers Truffle Dinner promises to become the must have ticket to kick off the long weekend!
Bringing 13 of your favourite wineries together at ‘The Village Hall’, each will host a table with wines especially curated to match starting with canapes and a stunning 3 course menu with Truffles at the very centre. Wineries will be bringing their rare & fine, back vintage, cellar selections, large formats and will no doubt be shared from table to table as the night goes on!
Settle in with Melbourne’s celebrated jazz ensemble, The Georga Byrne Trio and enjoy a night to celebrate the season.
Wineries include Paringa Estate, Montalto, Stonier, Handpicked Wines, Quealy Winemakers, Main Ridge Estate, Kerri Greens, Crittenden Wines, Ocean Eight, Rahona Valley, Red Hill Estate, Tar & Roses and Yabby Lake.

The Saturday Wine Festival
In 2024 we’re launching a new way to experience this long standing and popular event, with tickets priced at $80per person, which includes wine tastings from 40 of our region’s wineries, who will be pouring their new vintage and special release wines in your RIEDEL glass to take home.
Evolving our food experience, the ‘Village Green’ will be humming with the theatre of four new food partners who you can purchase from:
- Long Paddock Raclette Bar – bubbling Raclette is served individually onto artisan sourdough with cornichons, pickled onions and smoked ham. Cheese boards will also be available with traditional cheeses.
- Red Gum BBQ – a renowned Red Hill restaurant will bring their wood smoker to serve a trio of sliders, brisket burger, a rib and slaw.
- Pinchy’s Lobster Bar – a perfect Chardonnay and sparkling wine match, customers can choose from lobster rolls in toasted brioche buns, crab tacos, a vegan option of a lion’s mane taco and truffle fries.

The Village Hall & Vintage Bar
“The Village Hall” will be hosting a long-table, farmhouse lunch available only for 200 Saturday Festival ticket holders, of duck cassoulet & crusty bread with a Millers fruit tart to finish at $59 per person. “The Vintage Bar” will be pouring back vintages, rare & fine or just something special, with 12 of our wineries having chosen from their cellars, which will be available to buy by the glass.

Crittenden Wines
Across the weekend Crittenden will be focusing upon doing what they do best – hosting engaging premium seated tastings showcasing a broad range of award winning wines in a modern and comfortable space with a wood fire blazing. Traditional wines that exemplify what the Peninsula does best; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, along with alternative varietals to add interest and variety to your tasting experience. Two tasting options: Introductory or premium. Cheese boards will be available to purchase, with cheeses carefully selected to enhance the wines we are featuring. Groups no larger than 6, bookings essential.
Stonier Wine
Join with owner Aaron Drummond and winemaker Julian Grounds as you taste through Stonier’s new release 2023 in our Cellar. Jump in the ute for a tour of the farm, tasting in the single vineyard blocks where the wines are grown and hear the story of farming evolution of this significant old vineyard. Stonier’s iconic ‘Pies & Pinot’ all weekend. Mornington Peninsula’s favourite Millers Bakery are baking delicious Duck & Pinot pies, Roast Chicken & Chardonnay pies and Mushroom, Thyme & Pinot Noir pies. Live music featuring local singer/songwriter Leonardo Ercole on guitar and vocals.

Quealy Winemakers
This weekend is an opportunity to taste our trio of new release wines celebrating our vineyard’s 40th Anniversary, with delicious pizza by local artisan maker, Dodds Pizza.
Paringa Estate Winery & Restaurant
Celebrate King’s Birthday Long Weekend with live jazz, wine & slow cooked winter meals with views over our sloping vineyard. Jazz, Food & Wine Ticket includes entry into the winery, live jazz entertainment for the day, slow cooked winter meal (vegetarian options also available) an etched Paringa Estate Plumm wine glass to keep + a glass of your favourite Paringa Estate ‘Peninsula’ wine. Be prepared for a big, bold, and groovy afternoon from this all-star line-up of Melbourne’s prolific and popular musicians – Bob Sedergreen, Paul Williamson (sax and vocals, organ), Michael Jordan (drums and vocal) and Jonathon Chidgey on bass. A special guest will be the indefatigable queen of gospel and blues Kerri Simpson.
Nazaaray Estate Winery
Draw & paint at Nazaaray with support from the Peninsula Plein Air Painting Group, who will lead a still life creative experience in the winery. All levels welcome, from 10am. It’s been a while but we’re thrilled to be inviting you back to our winery barrel hall in Merricks North for our Barrel Hall Wine Sale & Sausage Sizzle as part of Winter Wine Weekend!
We’ll be offering free tastings of our pre-release 2023 Montalto Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; a selection of very special vintage wines which have been expertly cellared by our experienced wine team; our unfinished 2024 wines straight from the barrel – truly a moment out of the ordinary! Expect to find some incredible deals which will only be available at the barrel hall on the day.

Sunday at Fenian Wines will present live music with local musician Eve Ward and Eat My Thai food truck serving up delicious Thai meals and snacks. Cheese platters also available. Free event, no bookings required.
Elan Vineyard & Winery
